Our People: Training & Development
All Shining Knight employees are comprehensively trained when they commence employment with our company at our National Head Office. We have a large warehouse specifically set up so all new staff can be taught the Shining Knight way to clean. Once they pass our training, they are all then trained again at their place of employment so that they undergo site specific training. Once employed, they are also put through Certificate III in Asset Maintenance so they receive a Nationally accredited certificate to show that they have been thoroughly rained in all aspects of cleaning
When employees show leadership skills, they are encouraged to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Our training objectives are:
Provide employees with the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform their cleaning duties in a variety of operational environments.
Enhance the performance of personnel with experience and industry training.
Familiarise and reinforce OH&S procedures and policies for cleaning environments.
Our training programs cover cleaning procedures, chemical safety and usage, equipment usage, OH&S, environmental management, customer service, contract management, security and communication.
Our high contract renewal rates demonstrate the effectiveness of our training programs.
